Seasonal allergies

Fall is here and with it comes allergy-related symptoms for many. If your child suffers from fall seasonal allergies, it's time to start their allergy and/or asthma medications and continue them through the end of October. These may include oral antihistamines, antihistamine eye drops, non-decongestant nasal sprays, or inhaled steroids. Ask your doctor if you are unsure of which medications are best for your child.

Flu vaccine is now available for the 2016 - 2017 season. Please be aware that our vaccine supplies are dependent on distribution from the Dept of Public Health and can fluctuate. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Tick season is here! If you find a tick on your child, don't panic. Visit this link for helpful information on tick removal and tickborne illnesses.

When recovering from a concussion, cognitive rest is just as important as rest from physical activity. A recent study confirms a faster recovery with appropriate cognitive rest.

Consider consulting the Pediatric Symptom Checker in our Useful Links section under Resources if you have questions about your child's symptoms.
